The IOS Custom Packaging & Logistics Division offers outsourcing for die-cut containers, partitions and packaging fabricated with corrugated paperboard, wood, chipboard, and foam. IOS assembles pallets on site and meets all U.S. customs regulations for cross-border shipments. Heat treatment of wood pallets at point-of-use is becoming the new industry standard because a customs regulation has gone into effect in many countries to prevent cross-border transmission of insects and bacteria. With a high-volume wood treatment unit on site in Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, IOS handles pallets from assembly to treatment to packaging to shipment of customer products—in one location. Packaging solutions are available for all types and sizes of products with three specialty categories in this division utilizing an array of IOS core competencies. IOS can manage customer inventory with its efficient, demand-driven VMI process.
