IOS brings together highly skilled programmers, data process engineers and operators, along with advanced systems to handle your form data processing reliably and economically, while producing consistently superior results.

After unpacking and/or envelope extraction and document sorting, batching and tracking number assignment, forms are scanned at 200-300 dpi depending on the quality of the data form to be processed. During scanning process, the fields undergo OCR processing and validation for field content. If there is a background, a combination of optical and digital color filters enable IOS to drop out any background color from any form. If the form passes the process successfully, a control number is assigned.

Critical to the IOS process is our exception handling procedure. The primary exception handler is a system determination of form suitability for OCR processing. Any claims not meeting validation rules or not successfully completing the OCR process at a high enough accuracy rate are handled with this exception.

The key entry operators process batches of images in need of correction or manual data entry. The batch is opened on a verification station displaying the imaged document, with fields containing unreadable characters highlighted to prompt operators for corrective action.
